Growing up in country NSW I had a great start to life, learning horsemanship from some of Australia's best horsemen and parents who taught me that anything is possible.
With my work with horses I have experienced a few sever injury's. these include a broken back and a fractured pelvis, at the time I fractured my pelvis I was caring for a friends animals who was dyeing from leukaemia I also had 30 horses of my own. During the recovery of my pelvis I witness some wonderful people around me who pitched in to help me with the farm and to care for my friends animals.
It was then I realised how lucky I was, and that not everyone has the same support. This was the birth of the Patient Pet care program. Since then we have helped many people in their time of need. We have cared for Cats, Dogs, fish, donkeys, horses, cattle sheep and goats.
It is important that we pay tribute and give thanks to those in our community who continually help others.
The awards are one way for us to do this.
Help us build a central pet care facility so we can care for many more animals and give a lot more people peace of mind while they are in need.
We have a simple, but robust mission: To help people in need and alleviate the stress they have with their pets when they are sick or hospitalized.
We are always looking for volunteers to help us deliver our service.
